Job Responsibility:

Candidate will take on the role of Data Base Administrator of our E&P app development team. You will be expected to perform the following tasks:
  • Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS)
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies
  • Manage database security and control access permissions
  • Collaborate with developers on database design and optimization
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with more than 4 years of experience
  • Proficiency with DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of database theories and practices.
  • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
  • Experience with cloud-based database services (preferable)
  • Familiarity with database monitoring tools.
